Our English Breakfast Tea is a equal mix of the black teas Chester (Ceylon BOP) and Kalgar (Indian BOP). It brews a full-flavored, richly-colored, and full bodied cup. One of our strongest teas, it is perfect to start the day.
For the best brew, steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 2-5 minutes. We recommend this tea be served hot with milk and a little sugar, but it is also delicious served with lemon.
(Orange Pekoe refers to the size of the leaf, not the quality or flavor. BOP or Broken Orange Pekoe teas are broken leaf teas. Contrary to popular belief, the term "orange" does not refer to a flavor, but rather to the Dutch House of Orange.)
